Grab-and-Go
Grab-and-go resources are an easy way to incorporate brand creative and messaging into your communications. These tools are ready-to-use throughout your projects and channels without the need for custom design or video work.
Brand Wallpapers
Our brand wallpapers are designed for a variety of potential uses, making it easy to share your blue-and-white pride. This collection features everything from the Nittany Lion mascot to historical and modern landmarks and logos, and beyond. Wallpaper sizes allow use for computer desktops to phone wallpapers to social media channel cover images.
Virtual Meeting Backgrounds
The virtual meeting background collection features many of the same designs as our brand wallpapers, but updated specifically for virtual meeting use. When using the motion backgrounds (MP4 files), make sure that the ‘mirror my video’ option is unchecked in the video camera settings.
Sizzle Reel
Think of this 90-second video as Penn State’s elevator pitch—a high-energy overview of who we are and what makes us special. It is designed to convey our size and breadth, our excellence, our impact, and our remarkable community. You can use it on its own or it can be wrapped with your specific messaging via social media, talking points, etc. The video is evergreen and available for you to use with both internal and external audiences for such purposes as orientations, campus visits, conferences, etc.
Creative Brief
The creative brief is a resource designed to help communicators, creatives, project managers, and project requestors identify and agree on the most important aspects of a creative need. The brief is intended to act as a collaborative framework from project initiation to execution—a “source of truth” to help focus goals and strategies while minimizing miscommunication.
Video Guidelines
Our brand video guidelines start with the foundational reference to our brand messaging and storytelling resources. We continue with thorough production theory notes and practical tips and links for anyone creating videos. This resource should prove valuable for a variety of experience levels and includes a link to a live video workshop covering much of the guideline material.
Three brand motiongraphic (mogrt) templates are also available for download and use in Adobe Premiere.
